OK! im ordering my upgrades tonight (basically a new computer without the case, i have a lian li) and would like a few suggestions!

CPU-AMD Athlon 64 3200+ Venice Chip Socket 939 ( link ) I plan on oc'n this chip using the DFI board (below)

Video Card-eVGA 6800 GT PCI-E ( link ) I'm going to use the step-up program later to upgrade to a 7800

Mobo-DFI Lanparty NF4 Ultra-D ( link ) Got it for it's reputation as a good oc company, though im trouble by voltage issues w/ RAM

RAM-Corsair Value Select PC3200 (1 GB / 512x2 ) ( link ) This is where I'm a little confused, not sure whether to go for 2 GB (two 1 gig sticks) or just get 1 GB

Hard Drive-Seagate 7200.7 NCQ 120 GB ( link ) I dont do video encoding, so I really didnt see need for a huge HDD

PSU-Antec TruePowerII 430 watt ( link ) Don't know much about power supplies, friend recommended

DVD/CD Drive - NEC 3540A ( link ) Highly recommended

I am also getting this fan controller

Do I need any cooling devices? Anything missing (besides case 😛) ANY suggestions welcome , thanks ahead of time!!

Not to threadjack, but do you know what percent of the graphic card's retail price goes towards the step up program? Do you lose like 10%?

DFI requires a 480 Watt PSU w 24 pin native ATX connector. Although that Antec is a very nice PSU, you will probably need to get another
