woot.com has a camera up. I'm trying to get some extra money and I don't know if it's worth it to me to try to buy one or two and sell on ebay. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Woot - $90 (Ignoring shipping cost, it's a flat rate)

I see $30 of potential, minus ebay/paypal fees assuming you don't pad the shipping costs, but in the end, the totals will be the same anyway. I wouldn't try to buy them and sell them again.

Thank you. I've not yet sold anything on Ebay, so I'm not sure how it works and the costs and such. I need to read up on it.

Reviews on the HP "M" series pointed out problems with the rear LCD breaking. I have used an HP R507 for over two years with no problems so I would recommend that series instead. Just FYI

Not to mention that a few people will think exactly like you so you'll see a huge influx of those cameras on eBay. Which in turn will drive down the bid price.

There's some simply theory I read in an intro to busienss class that talked about how once any of these things go public, the price of a stock will automatically adjust and so buying based on news/announcements in anticipation of the value increasing is pointless. The market basically adapts as a whole faster than you can.

The same could be applied to this.
