I own a 1995 BMW 540i, I have invested a lot of time and money into fixing up this car and the only thing left to replace is the rims. The original owner swapped the stock rims for some chrome M parallel knock offs. The problem is these are cheap knock offs and they don't balance out properly, not to mention they weigh an absolute ton. So I've been looking around for oem M parallels that you see on last generation 7 series with the sports package. The problem is oem M parallels are about 600 dollars a piece. So I have been looking at replicas of the non-chrome M parallels but I'm afraid I'll run into the same problem that I have with my current rims. So I'm wondering what kind of quality to expect from aftermarket rims.
Cliffs:
1. Have old BMW
2. Original owner put cheap chrome rims that don't balance out.
3. Want OEM M parallels, too expensive.
4. Are factory replicas any good?
