Aftermarket NB replacement for the eVGA 680i

I'm looking for an aftermarket replacement for the eVGA 680i NB/MCP cooler.
I've tested my chip out on other boards and i can get higher than a 470FSB, but i think my NB/MCP is overheating and i want to increase the cooling, but the stock fan sucks.
Any suggestions?
(It's in an Antec 900 case)

I think people have been getting good results with the thermalright HR-05 SLI, although your evga board will still need cooling on the southbridge, either the EVGA fan that they are now selling for $5 or a second HR-05 if you can fit it.

You know whats funny? for a while ive been telling people to leave the stock as it is.

HOWEVER i reciently bought this board, and it gets HOT when you OC. 680i isnt a joke.

Im about to move it over to water, but i like to note some NB blocks you should look into.

HR-05 is a nice cooler, however i dont think you need the sli version. Theres nothing obstructing the north bridge, and the L might actually hurt you

i think you should look into the dimensions b4 u buy it.

if u had them all facing top, i think the NB and CPU would line up if you used a non sli version 😛

Thats why i think the SLI version of the HR-05 might not be a good idea 😛

i have to try the SLI version because the way my airflow is in the case. If i face my HSF up, then i gain a few degrees.
I rather risk the SLI edition. I should have enough room.

hmmmm.... well good luck, and let me know how it goes.

As for me, im gonna use the DangerDen 680i waterblock for NB and use swiftechs MCW30 for my south bridge. That should keep my board cool.

But yeah, my board needs to get RMA'd. She's having random reboots.
