Aftermarket floppies on a Dell Dim 4600

Color me crazy, but I'm under the assumption that 99.9% of the floppy drives out there are basically the same they've been for the past 15 years 😉 If that's the case, I'd further assume you could replace the floppy drive just fine. I can't see Dell making some proprietary floppy drive.
 
Well, first off....

What I meant was that the case might have some special faceplate or something where a "normal" floppy wouldn't work/fit. That's all. IT's not like there's just a rectangle that you can pop out...there's a "bezel" or whatever that is.

So, if I can get one for $9, I won't spend the $20 that dell wants.
