Aftermarket cooler for 6600GT - does one exist?

If not, any interesting DIY solutions?

And while I'm at it.. if anyone has a link to a good tutorial about HSF replacement in general (cleaning old gunk off, applying new gunk, best practices, etc.) I'd really appreciate it. Looking to possibly put a new cooler on my Barton 2500+ so I can OC it, but that's for another forum.

Thanks in advance folks...

Zalman's VF700's are starting to show in the US, I've got one on order, gonna see how well it works with the AGP 6600GT's. The AGP cards with the pcie-agp bridge are not going to be easy to support aftermarket products, though. The gpu does not sit centered between the two HSF mounting holes, and the HS over the bridge could be in the way of the Zalman as well.

When you get it installed, let us know - I'm sure I'm not the only one anxiously awaiting your results w/ the 700... good luck!

Super-simple install on my xfx card (xfx's copper plate on the heatsink is off-center, but the gpu is directly between the HSF mounting holes. I get 5 degrees C cooler with the AlCu version in silent mode. So using the CU version in normal mode probably would give 10+ degrees cooler. I'm not an overclocker, just looking for silence, and it's well worth the money.

Which xfx card version did you put it on? Is it the one with the new (silver) HSF?
