Anyone every had Afterburner cause issues with a 7950/7970 card and dual monitors? After installing Afterburner I get lockups in Win 7 and the "display driver has stopped responding" message. Here's the situation:
1. I did a clean install of Win 7 with a 7950 card and the latest AMD drivers (12.6). Dual monitors worked fine.
2. Shutdown, unplugged one monitor, restarted and installed Afterburner. Did some overclocking, ran some benchmarks, etc. Everything fine.
3. Shutdown, plugged second monitor back in, started Windows up. Immediately after boot up at the Windows desktop I get hangs, black screens, etc and the "display driver has stopped responding" message.
4. Hard shut down, unplugged second monitor, booted back up and everything works fine.
Any ideas? Seems like the only thing that changed in this scenario is the installation of Afterburner. Note that the lockups and driver failure was at the Win 7 desktop, not overclocked or while in 3d mode.
