Muslim man elected to Clarkston city council spot
I saw this in the local paper this morning and it just kinda made me at least feel good about where I live. For those of you not familiar with my little burb (that would be almost all of you), it's a small town just barely outside of Atlanta with an incredibly diverse population. It's an interesting area as it's one of the few where one group hasn't come in and supplanted another (as in poor areas being "gentrified"...this has been the trend of late intown ATL).
Anyway this just kinda made my day and I thought I'd share.🙂
