After years of seeing many different mailmen...

Ive noticed the same thing in waitresses lately. Well maybe not beards, but definetly a few mustaches.

The dad of one of my close friends works for UPS. I've known him for almost 15 years and I've never seen him without a mustache. A couple weeks ago I saw him with his work friends... every single one (6+) had a mustache.

The shipping industry is weird.

i never see mailmen with beards...but then again i've never seen a mail-man...all of ours are women. except for ups/fedex

On a related note, the woman that delivers my mail is incredibly hot.

:camera:'s? 😛

You come up with a conceivable way of having her picture taken and I'll do it.

next time you see her at your door...go "hey, someone on the internet wants to see your picture. May I take your picture?"

Sure Win!!!

Yes, I agree. Most of the people who haul the freight from my business have two things in common:

1. Facial hair - moustache, some beards.
2. Smoke like chimneys or abuse some other tobacco product.

Beards are an optional part of the mailman uniform. Most, but not all, of the mailwomen forego this option, but a majority of mailmen elect to wear it. Why? It has something to do with retaining your mancard while wearing a uniform that includes shorts.
