[replying to scenario prompt]
this transfers to battle just the same... and I'm confident that if the situation were to ever come up where I'd have men that could be saved if I took action some how, I'd make an attempt to take that action. It's a numbers game in that situation. I'm not saying I'm gonna go jump on a grenade as soon as one lands... I'm throwin that bitch if I think I got time, or hiding. I do want to live in the end. My name can't grace history books if I die young. Dammit I need to live if I can, but again it can be a numbers game. :p

so if your gonna die, the world's gonna die? Why not die anyway? Give someone else a chance. :p

although at times I wish nearly of humanity to die, start over as tribal creatures and stay that way. Or move to space where it'd be all artificial, then we could live forever. Come to think of it, that's what we need to do now. Outsmart nature in general and ditch the rock.

If it saves my family, I'm all for it.
If it is some random person most likely not, unless it is a child. In that case depending on what was happening, I might help. But me and my family ar emore important than you and your family. :p

How many people would I need to save to get my own memorial? If I could get a bronze statue and a stadium named after me, that might be worth it!
