After three showers and dozens of hand washings my brother still smells like epoxy!

I feel so bad right now...

I asked him to mix up some isotox pesticide that was in a bottle that looked like it was from the 70s.

Japanese beetles were munching on my ornamental shrubs which cost a lot of money so I asked him to help out here. He should have used PPE!

He reeks like he took a bath in five minute jb weld. Even the couch smells of it where he's been sitting down!

The good news is the hedges are free of those pesky damn beetles.

Reminds me of Jim Norton talking about Butterscotch Pudding on O&A years back...

Buy a few boxes of latex gloves at harbor freight or Costco and keep them around the house. They are worth their weight in gold just for things like this or even while working on the cars. Its awesome to do work on the car and then pull the gloves off and your hands are clean.

About 10 years ago I decided to play with fiberglass. I bought some mesh and the chemicals to mix... I started working on it when I had time. The only problem was, I picked a rainy day and was doing this in my apartment. I had to open all the doors in my apartment and quickly move my small fiberglass project out on the covered deck (on cardboard)

The smell was in my apartment for a few days... It didn't smell as bad as JB Weld, but had a much more harsh chemical smell to it....like stuff you know you're not supposed to breathe in when you smell it.

What do you smell like

I smell like Dove body wash! I use a loofah! :awe:

That epoxy smell is in the couch! He stunk up the couch with that stuff. Wow does it stink!

Why couldn't that (isotox) smell like long work time epoxy? At least that smells like something edible. (shrimp cocktail!)

Owning/living/working at a marina most of my life I know that smell. Probably sniffed too much resin and kicker to be honest. It smells good compared to this. At first it was like packed Idaho dirt then got that pungent hardner only smell from five minute work time epoxy...

Back in the day I swapped out the rear diff in my old Mustang, and ended up smelling like gear oil for a few days. Yuck.
