Do you think that after the NV20 is out with it's HSR drivers, they will release drivers for the GTS GPU?

I think they won't until after, if they do at all.. but then again I don't know much on the subject.

I don't think that is the way NVIDIA is going. The reason 3dfx released HSR drivers is becuase of their acquisition of that company the specializes in tile base rendering. The HSF drivers are a peak at the performance 3dfx could get from their next product.

Perhaps not HSR drivers, but I expect bandwidth utilization to further improve with the next big release of Detonators. After all, clever bandwidth optimization is what caused Det3's to be quite a bit faster than 2-series.

According to leaked specs and rumours NV20 will have HSR hardware (occulsion detection & culling), that's something the new supposed detonators won't support on GeForce cards.

I doubt it, it would put the current GeForce cards close to the NV20 in speed, making it less attractive.
