You should have talked to the GM and if he wasn't there, asked when he would be. That type of job a lot of the time you just shake his/her hand and you're hired.

I worked there through high school, good times. I would suggest you apply at local pizzerias though because I feel a bit ripped off since I mastered every job there was but never learned how to toss dough (we used a machine roller).

anyway good luck

After a couple of weeks go back and ask about your application. If you express interest in being hired, it's much more likely to happen.

Thanks, I applied for a delivery driver so I don't think I'll be making too many pizzas :)

This is true. Most of the time they interview and forget about you (when I worked at KFC it was like this) but if you show interest they'll be like oh what the hell and hire you. THe number one criteria they look for is interest IMHO.

I've always thought of applying for delivery dude as a side job. If I could build a robot car with some AI and a credit card swipe, it would be win.

ALWAYS follow up on an application and an interview. It makes you look interested. The one exception to this is when you get hired immediately.
Actually, right before you start you should still make a courtesy call, just to thank them for the quick hiring.
