After Remote Desktop'ing my new system, when I login to desktop, it reboots...

Got my new rig setup, and a couple times now that I've remote desktop'd into it from another pc.... When I goto the pc and login directly, it reboots right away. Any ideas why this would be happening? Should I just reinstall XP? I've never had this before. Thanks. -Tal

I have seen this before. The problem I had was everytime I remote desktop into a machine it would blue screen and reboot. This was caused by a bug in the video card driver of the machine. Try upgrading your drivers. Also turn off the automatic reboot after a crash so you can see if it is a blue screen and what driver is causing it.

Set it to do a mini dump and mail the zipped mini dump file to bluescreens at comcast.net and I'll tell you (if I can) what I think was going wrong with the box at the time of the crash. A kernel mode dump will tell more, but it's too large to e-mail. Just set it to a mini (small) dump file, and then after it crashes, mail me the c:\windows\minidump\*.dmp file.
