I finally seem to have gotten my Asus K8V SE Deluxe & memory to quit fighting...so i decided to try some OCing...

I bumped my NewCastle 3200+ from 2.2 to a modest 2.365 (11x215), & then reinstalled mm5 only to find my temps are now around 33-37C idle instead of the previous few days 37-41C.

I'm guessing it's due to the hotter weather a few days ago...i just didn't realize it would be such a big diff to the CPU.

I know this has been posted to death, but the fact that my RAM is running at 400MHz & out of sync with the CPU is okay, correct?

I am not used to the lack of FSB with the A64s, & a little unsure of many of the settings for stuff yet.

It is ok run memory and cpu out of sync. I prefer not too. I would say that it has to be the ambient temps in the room causing the temps to drop.
