AFter I install the motherboard drivers for Windows... it doesn't make it past the load bar... I've tried to roll it back and it still does that, I did flash the mobo w/ the most current bios.

I've updated several more drivers... Windows update, latest vid card, latest nforce ... ok ... now I don't want to restart because EVERY time I restart it goes to the windows logo with the load bar and will get stuck and lock up there...

I did activate on the mobo plug and play .. it was off... or should i leave it off?

ALL Help is appreciated.... thanks

simple, dont load the nforce drivers......there are loads of posts on the internet about the buggy drivers on the nforce4 boards, i know, i have 2 of them, same problem as you on both, just ruun the windows supplied driver when you load windows and it will work fine.
btw no bumping of your own thread more than 1 time every 4 hours.....

Don't install the Nforce IDE driver. Install everything else but leave that unchecked. Lot of people have problem with the buggy IDE driver. Just don't install and use the microsoft version.

Well, I found another problem I finally got past that issue w/o loading the IDE driver, but now it's locking up after I installed my L90D+ driver, I don't know if that made it lock up because I had to restart it last night and it kept locking up at the desktop about 15 secs after a logon... I'm out to shoot my self :(
