Trump has been fighting the Corona pandemic since the day it reared its ugly head on our shores. It's the one enemy of his that he can't win against simply because he can't ignore it like he ignores the advice his staff gives him, he can't lie about it like he does with every problem he's incapable of solving and he can't stop the rapidly rising rate of infections and deaths by diverting attention away from it.
His casual approach toward this pandemic that's again spreading with a vengeance has finally got him right where he didn't want to be yet right where he belongs. That being in a ratings drop that his stable genius told him wouldn't happen if he just kept sidestepping the actual threat that he didn't know how to personally deal with.
He could have chosen to listen to the science based advice he was given and act accordingly and he'd be in a whole lot less trouble he's now having to deal with. But no, no, abso-frickin-lutely NO way was he going to rely on anybody but himself to handle his effort at getting reelected. Fuck with all the deaths being piled up at his feet, to hell with the fact that every time he plays down the pandemic, his ratings drop accordingly.
This is the guy of whom millions of our fellow Americans are staunchly and irrevocably defending and of whom want to allow Trump to rule over us like the tyrant he is (for lack of the requisite skills that would preclude his being that way) for another four years.
What we're going to get if that ever happens is an accelerated blitzkrieg on the rule of law and the Constitution the likes of which we've never seen since Trump first started his assault on it the day he took office.
For the sake of the nation's rapidly eroding welfare, health and security, that orange glowing fella needs to go come November
