I recently moved, and had my computer sitting untouched for a 11 days. I went to plug it in, and absolutely nothing happens. The power button doesn't work, it doesn't automatically start up when power is present (as the bios are set), the pilot light on the mobo won't even turn on.
I can verify that the PSU can start up by unplugging it from the mobo and jump starting it. 5v and 12v checks out fine with the multimeter at a few places. Jump starting it when plugged into the motherboard doesn't work.
I unplugged and detached everything else to isolate the problem without luck.
I thought that it must be a dead mobo, so I threw another one in there, exact same problem.
Any ideas? I'm going to try to borrow a PSU from work to see if that's the problem, even though the old one jump starts.
Thanks!
Kevin
