after login-hangs for a minute before running explorer.exe

Hi guys.

We have a new PC at work.

Its a Windows XP Pro connected to our domain.

After loggin into the domain and after personal settings and things have been loaded, it pauses for almost 1 minute at just the background before finally starting explorer.exe (with the taskbar and all that).

Any ideas why? I'm 99% its not malware/virus or anything.
Is there a program that can be run to show what drivers/processes are slowing down? I've stopped all startup programs in msconfig to see if that helped but it didnt.

Any help appreciated.

What antivirus are you running? We had an issue at work with SEP 11 that would not cause explorer.exe to run for several minutes after logging in.
