After installing OfficeXP: please close all microsoft office applications before shutting down

Has anyone else had this problem???

I'm running Win2k Pro SP2.

I tried searching the knowledge base, but nothing.

Someone must know where the check box is to turn this annoying "feature" off.

Yes, I get this too

I find it QUITE annoying as I tend to leave outlook open all the time...

I thought it was just some pain-in-the-ass thing microsoft put on so there would be less shutdown problems? I don't know but im running the same software you are...

Exactly. I leave outlook open all the time too. Have you done any research trying to find an answer to it?

Lets keep this bad boy at the top, maybe someone has figured it out.
