After installing new virus and firewall software, can't load gmail with firefox

I recently did a big cleanup of my system. Ran Adware, spybot search and destroy, spyware blaster. Installed Kerio personal firewall, and Panda platinum anti-virus. Now then I go to gmail.google.com, I see the login page. I enter my username and password I see it say "Connecting to 127.0.0.1" in the status bar, and it loads a blank page, and just says, "Done" on the status bar below. Why would it be trying to connect to the loopback address? It works fine in IE, but not in Firefox. I tried disabling both Panda and Kerio, and it still will not work. Anyone have a clue here? This is with Firefox 1.0 PR.

sounds like your host files are directing it to your home address

Nevermind, I fixed it. Clearing Firefox's cache cleared the problem right up.
