My 5 year old sons trusty S370 Tualatin with VooDoo 5500 rig started randomly rebooting/crashing and being generally pissy last week. I swapped/tested/drank pots of coffee and could not figure out what was wrong.
I just sat down and decided to "look" everything over before I chucked it into a snowdrift.
Then I noticed the bulging and stained caps between the power connector and the cpu. I can't believe I had my head in this case for so much time and did not see that. Off to fs/ft or ebay I guess to get a replacement. Life is tuff when you can't play Buzzy at the Airport
