After enabling WPA...I can't use Remote Desktop internally...

I don't understand. I enabled WPA on my router (WRT54G) and then enabled it on my card (Netgear WG511), and it worked out just fine. From my laptop, I can access the web, I have the same LAN IP address, and it shows a good strong connection to my network.

But it won't let me use Remote Desktop to my Desktop computer anymore.

Anyone have any ideas? And if you know the answer...if you could just point me in the right direction, that would be very much appreciated. I'm trying to learn wireless technology as much as possible.

Always worked for my whether on my SMC2804wbr or my buffalo wbr2-G54 or a cheap Dlink 614+B router.. Even when using RD on my PDA to take over one of my desktops. NEVER a problem with WPA.

BTW, loopback should have nothing to do with it.

R u trying to access your LAN pic by IP addy or computer name?

Not sure.

I tried both last night. I dunno, I think I know what's wrong. I'll try when I get home, and report back. Thanx for the help.

Thanx for the help. It just worked out of nowhere. I haven't changed anything, but it just worked!
