After Effects Experts, How would I achieve this desired effect?

I used the Video Copilot 3D Shadows Tutorial to add the 3D title to my video:

My question for all you AE wiz's out there is, how would you go about making the bike that rides close to the camera pass between the camera and the 3D title?

I think this would be very cool, but I'm not sure how to achieve that particular effect. Any links or descriptions as to the easiest way to do this are very much appreciated, thanks!

Play with the layers? I'm learning AE myself, so I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure you can do this in layers.

I'm an AE noob as well. I have the background plate (without title) and I have another layer with the title. The trick is going to be getting the biker into a separate layer that I can put in front of the title.

My research thus far is pointing to frame by frame rotoscoping which looks difficult and time consuming. If anyone can think of an easier way, I'm all ears
