Sorry for my poor English, I hope someone can understand what I mentioned below:
After I set up my new winXP sp2 excitely using asus a8n-sli and Winfast 6600GT, I got a problem: once I dial DSL and connected successfully, the system stop responsing about 3-5 minutes. (I mean that I cannot click any icon or run application in that period, whatever windows firewall enabled or not) After that I can browse internet or download file as normal. The mobo chipset is nforce4 and I using onboard lan port to connect the DSL.
my system: winXP professional sp2/windows firewall DISALBLED/McAfee antivirus enterprise 8.0i/on board nvidia ethernet lan controller/ie 6.0 fixed all patchs
my rig: asus a8n-sli mobo with nforce4 chipset/Apcer 512MX2 dual channel DDR400/AMD64 3200+/winfast 6600GT PCIEx/WD raptor 360D x 2 raid0/ onboard Realtek ALC850 AC97/Seventeam 400W power supply
