I accidentally changed my Wireless Base Station (MSFT) 's IP Address to something arbitrary, and now I cannot access it anymore, and my connection is completely screwed. If I try to access the Base Station Management Utility, and go to Management Tool, that option is now grayed out. The computer can still see the wireless network, but everytime I try to connect, I get an "incorrect" security key, although it is the same one I have been using for one year. I tried to reset the base station numerous times to no avail. Can anyone help me fix this problem??? I tried contacting MSFT e-mail support, but they don't have it for the MN-500 model. Thanks.

reset to default settings, (button on back, hold it in with a ball point pen for a few seconds iirc) and then you can get a DHCP address. type "ipconfig" and find the default gateway settings. Type that address into a web browser and reconfigure.

Do you know the IP address you changed it to? If so, just plug a network cable into one of the available ports...change your PC IP address to a static one on the same subnet as the wireless and you should be able to get in to reconfigure it.
