after bios there's a option for raid setup

after the bios screen goes away on bootup the next screen says something about raid. press ctrl+s or F4. i'm not using a raid config and the SATA wires are not connected to the raid connectors. so my question is how do i get rid off that screen?
 
did you try going into bios to remove it? I remember I had something like the previously and I think there was a bios option for it...
 
It doesn't sound like you're using your spare SATA controller (probably Silicon Image). So just disable it in your BIOS. That's probably what's flashing you the message.
