Not a bad action figure, but what is the fascination with Half-Life? The original game was a flaming pile of shit, and the remake was only a minor improvement.

RANT ALERT:
What's with all the threadcrappers here!!?/

I'd like to see any one of you turkeys do better! That guy obviously put a lot of work and effort into making that action figure - Not that I'm an action figure buff or anything.

It just pisses me off every time I have to hear or read some little puke take a big fat crap all over someone else's obviously talented craftsmanship.

These are the same whiney ninnies that wouldn't date a sexy-hot swimsuit model who just finished up a spread in FHM because she's too fill-in-the-blank!

This guy did some very good and very detailed work - so give it up already!
/rant

Getting back on topic: That some pretty impressive work there. Nice attention to detail with the custom paint work!

8.5/10

True. But this guy is a single craftsman. Small time. Its not like he's mass producing these things. Its better PR to simply turn a blind eye to things like this.
Now if he had a factory and was churning out several thousand. Thats a different story.

But I'm sure if you actually wanted to know that you would have looked it up yourself, instead you probably just wanted to come in here and be a dick.

it's cool, but it doesn't look human enough. Gordon was a scientist, not a body builder. Sure, he was in good shape but that torso is ridiculous.

I've played the game, and the gameplay absolutely sucks balls. I do realize that having the story delivered via NPCs talking with the character and not strictly being a book/note-fest was impressive, but nothing else about the game was.

I've never played the game and for a moment my brain got confused - I thought they'd made an action figure for Gordon Jump. I wondered whether it would be the Diff'rent Strokes child molester character, or the WKRP character. Oh well, one day my 70's sitcom action figure collection will be complete. One day.

When did you play it? It was remarkable for it's time.

Remember that all the games before it were Doom and Quake and the such. Nothing with actual depth (although I'm sure I'm going to get corrected).

I only just played the game in 2007.

I don't doubt that there were elements that were impressive (and I could see it when I played), but the game really lacked IMO. Later levels were atrocious, bosses were terrible, and gameplay was repetitive.

I did enjoy the original Unreal, Quake 1/2 (played them in 2006), and still play the Thief games (original Thief Dark Project really raised the bar IMO). In fact, I have been playing Thief fan missions again of late (was playing earlier tonight in fact) and never get tired of Thief (same cannot be said of some fan missions, however).

I did play HL plus both expansions last year, and Episode One when it was released, and I can honestly say I don't ever want to play another Half-Life game again (Portal is not a HL game).

Actually it is. Sorry. :D
Text
The portions of the Aperture Science Enrichment Center that Chell explores within Portal suggest that it is part of a massive research installation. At the time of events depicted in Portal, the Aperture Science Enrichment Center facility seems to be long deserted, although most of its equipment remains operational without human control. It is not clear when these events take place in the overall Half-Life time-line. At one point, GLaDOS states that "the world has changed since [the player] last left the building", claiming to be the only thing standing between "us" and "them", yet does not elaborate on the details.

anyways personally i think you are just trolling. 3.5/10 in that case.

This guys has some seriously awesome action figures after looking over the archive on his website. His Transformers that actually transform are incredible.

(oh, and what's the point in arguing with the HL troll?)
