Firefox, Drivers, Windows Updates, Antivirus (AVG free for me), Antispyware (microsoft's beta is my favorite), Media Player 11, ffdshow, Foxit, WinRar, then whatever apps need to be installed

At first i spent about 3 days trying to do everything manually with this guide.

Then i found Nlite. It's a great program and they already have most popular programs pre-packaged to slipstream into your installation with nlite.

Check out www.nliteos.com and Nlite's forums. Also check out the MSFN "unattended" forums here.

That should get you on your way.

Believe me, it's worth the effort :)
