Yeah... we know what you wanted us to think. As far as drill injuries go... never wear gloves while operating a drill press. That goes for most spinny equipment. I made that mistake once... 7/16" bit, low speed. Tip of thumb catches on bit.... thumb wraps around the bit.... motor stalls... how I managed to avoid broken bones on that one eludes me.

Reminds me of a story one of my old bosses told me. He'd smashed his finger, and the blood under the nail was causing mega pain. A friend told him if he pierced the nail, it would relieve the pressure. Instead of using a red hot paper clip, his friend used a tiny drill bit... in an electric drill! Yep, you guessed it. The bit sucked right though his finger! :Q

Well my injurie isn't as bad as yours, thank god.

I was drilling through some sheet metal, which I had placed on the floor (was just doing a quick hole), and the drill kicked back drill through my pants and into my leg (near my crotch :S).

Mind you I was more pissed off at the fact that I had ruined a perfectly good pair of pants, then I had hurt my self. lol.


I don't think I ever took off a pair of pants so fast, hahaha.
