I didn't enjoy minesweeper so much that I would pay for it, even $2. I hope this version they have it so you don't get to the point where you have to guess.

It's a good deductive reasoning trainer. I'll wait for the youtube championships that involve a billion hexes and marvel at the dedication and addiction people can have.

they should of made it 3D with Z axis, and call it Depth Charge

This is how i would of seen mine sweeper upgraded...

What they did was just keep the game on a 2D and overlayed it on a sphere, its not really that different from the original.

Well, a subtle yet significant difference is that the tiles are now hexes instead of squares. It still adds a fair bit of complexity....though I guess we shouldn't ever think about minesweeper as being some brilliant puzzle game

As someone that wasted way too much time on the original (joys of having a NT desktop) I find the game interesting, but not worth spending $3 on.
