I have been using Cooledit Pro 2.0/2.1 for over 1 year now. Its a great program - too bad its Adobe Audition now.... anyway. I am also running Zonealarm and tonight when I was opening a waveform, zonealarm pops up asking me if I want to allow CEP to acces the internet. It has never needed internet access before and it is very strange that it would need webaccess now. My PC has been running strangely slow lately (for a 2.533 w/1GB ram), and some other wierd things have been happening like Ctrl-C not copying without some effort. I run NAV and have a subscription so all updates 'should' be there. Is it possible I have a virus, keylogger, or something like that?

I'm planning a format/reinstall due to the sudden speed change on my PC but wanted to see what was up with CEP and zonealarm.

Maybe you should also check out Pestpatrol.

Check for keyloggers and everything (nearly) NAV and Zonealarm misses
