African Cave Spiders back on Fear Factor!!!

Finally, when I just grabbed it, I was so jumpy. I closed my eyes and I plugged my nose, because I didn't want to taste anything, and I didn't want to see it because it just freaked me out. The first time I put it in my mouth, I spit it right back out because it just crunched. It was just disgusting, and there was juice and pus and it went back on the table and since I'd gotten that far, I just knew that I had to do it. I just used my front teeth, 'cause I didn't want to put it in the back, and it bit me. It bit me up on my upper lip and inside my mouth. I just chewed it, and I just closed my eyes and I chewed it and I chewed it and I chewed it. Little parts of it were still in my teeth, and it was hard shell mixed with mush.

Yeah... I hate spiders as much as the next guy... but for that much money... I'd let 'em bite me 30 times.

Agreed. All of the stunts I've seen on there I could do no problem (most likely). All the gross eating stuff though... I don't trust my gag reflex.

Isn't it possible to drain the venom from a spider? If they were eaten very shortly after the draining procedure, they wouldn't have had time to make more, or enough to be nearly lethal.
 
I think the brain pie with worms is pretty high up on the gross scale...then again, the maggot mashed potatoes look pretty disgusting also.

Oh man, they look like they're in pain. I like the dude slurping the juices off the plate. Blech...
