Saw it on the news, of course we havent announced any attack yet, but I think it's coming, and it's well deserved.

By acting too fast against those who may not have caused any of this, then I think we are guilty as those we accuse. Let's just slow down, think, and just get it right this time.

i think it is time to see the large picture here. it is definately important to find out exactly who is responsible for this recent attack. however, what if osama bin laden (sp?) is not responsible this time? i still think we should rid the world of him, his group, and those that harbored him for so many years!!! why you ask...because regardless of his guilt this time, we know of many terrorists acts he has committed already. in the past few months isreal compiled a long list of known terrorists that they wanted arafat (sp?) do act on...now it is time to follow up on ALL known terrorists and eliminate them. there is a time for diplomatic justice, this is not one of them. i'm not calling for widespread bombing of innocent villages, rather spicific attacks on the root infrastructure and people who perpetrate and perpetuate such violence to not only punish those responsible for this act, but to prevent future such occurrances.

(forgive me for poor spelling...spell check has led to the dumbification of america)

Prepare as they may, there is not much to do as far as getting your ass kicked. They should have thought of that before.

Yeah. Even if bin didn't do this he has done stuff in the past and Tuesday shows us what can happen if terrorists are allowed to fester in their own crap.

I was thinking that maybe Saddam Hussein also has a hand in this? This seems plausible to me, he does have a lot of people that are willing to sacrifice their lives. What do you guys think?

Yeah, they know they're gonna get it. :)

And, yes, if you watched Colin Powel's speech yesterday to the press, you'd know that we're going to basically find who did it and roast their ass -and if anyone gets in our way or helps them at all, we're going to roast their asses too.

your post "by acting too fast" assumes we are making a mistake right now by acting too fast. it's just not true. the fed is showing remarkable restraint and seem to be doing a very good job.

don't post nonsense just to make yourself seem judicious. it isn't.

It's also a good thing that Powell made some connections in teh Middle East 10 years ago since it might help us now.

I certainly wouldn't be making any vacation plans for Afganistan anytime soon. Although if you're a laborer, then you might want to wait a few weeks, because I anticipate plenty of labor intensive construction jobs coming available there.

I think if they don't give Osama to US then Afghanistan will be over.... it's just a matter of how smart the afghanistan government in deciding the situation right now. American people are really angry right now. If M-16s fly over there, there will be absolutely no guarantee what will happen next.....

Whose sons and daughters would you like to see die? Do you want your kids to go? I'd take the missiles.

They will definitely use long range tatics first to disrupt communications (break the wires on their styrofoam cup phones :) ) then they will have to send in ground troops...you cant kill a gopher from the air....you know they have have bunkers deep down, so we will have to go on foot. But it doesnt matter wether Bin Laden did this recent chit or not, lets get him while were over there since we are at war with ALL terrorist, we should pursue this aggresively and start to erradicate any group etc associated with terrorism..PERIOD!
