As much as I feel your pain.

Where can I order that? Has anyone done a search for lamb fetus hats on ebay?

its gonna cost you a bundle, they went from selling 1 a month to 50 a day or something. massive slaughter:p i'm not sure there are that many lambs in afganistan;)

and the coats hehe.. it takes one entire fetus to make a hat.. those coats must be expensive.

Sheep produce lots of lambs, and having lived in the country and assisted our neighbor in both birthing and slaughtering his sheep, I don't see what's wrong with this. Making use of more of the animal - meat, skin, so? Their use of the word aborted is trying to stir up contreversy. They're animals, killed probably in the same way they would be normally. My only problem with slaughtering animals for use is when it's done inhumanely (read: horse and cow slaughterhouses)

Do you eat eggs?

Do you like veal?

I don't find it nearly as disturbing as some things his foes have done, or worse yet, the lamp shades made from the skin of jews by nazi's in WWII.

Yep, it's their use of the words aborted and fetus that make this something to take notice of. Unless you're totally veegan, let's hear no complaining. :)

Yeah. I also initially fell for that media trap grabbing my attention, but after reading your post, I agree with you.

hey hey, i'm not against fur if your breeding the dumb critters for the purpose and do it humanely. i was just kinda shocked that they actually made hats out of fetal lambs:) never crossed my mind that they would do something like that. hehe... just something interesting.

and from the pictures, i don't really see much fur, it must be fuzz or something. and being all wrinkly its more like a big scrotal sack hat more then anything else;)

fetal lamb pelts - aka "astragan wool" has been a popular upscale material for years - all the big time fashion houses Dolce and Gabbana, Gucci, Ralph Lauren, etc make super expensive coats and jackets out of it. More of it is probably used in the U.S. and Europe than anywhere else because it costs so much.
