affordable travel ideas for this weekend?

I will be traveling out of DC and looking for last minute travel ideas. We plan to leave Friday morning and return on Sunday.

Anywhere fun?
Thought about Toronto, about a 9 hour drive. Might be too much for a weekend trip though. Flights are pricey

Hmm .... Go enjoy nature, canoe trip or if there are any within a decent drive, a river rafting trip. Enjoy a day at the beach.
Otherwise go destroy nature, rent a jet ski for a day or perhaps an ATV. Go for a dune buggy ride

Otherwise, Go see lighthouses or something.
