thinking about 100 to 200 or so but depends on the model

no cheap crap

multi purpose

want to watch

galaxies
comets

If I was gonna bother to spend more than like 100-200 bucks, I'd get a computerized one. They don't cost all that much more...like 400 bucks versus 300 for 5-6". With a tripod...don't see much point to tabletop unless you live in the middle of nowhere.
