Aerosmith/Kiss concert

Has anyone been to one of there concerts this year ?
How was it ?
How much were the tickets ?
Was it worth going to ?

I am thinking about picking up a couple of tickets to see them at HarborYard in Bridgeport,CT on Nov, 14, I just don't want to waste my hard earned cash to see a bunch of old men who can't play for sh!t live.

I saw Aerosmith and ZZ Top back in the 70's.

ZZ Top was GREAT, Aerosmith sounded like a high school garage band!

Hopefully they don't still SUCK! ;)

A buddy of mine saw Aerosmith in the Milford high school gymnasium, long before they were famous, I do believe it was 1973.

That's about the time I saw them.
It was right after "toys in the attic" came out. They opened for ZZ Top and almost got booed off the stage.

In Mountainview, California, the Kiss/Aerosmith tickets are as follows:

LOWER LEVEL
$125.00

UPPER LEVEL
$105.00 - $125.00

LAWN SEATS/GENERAL ADMISSION
$50.00

This is through Ticketmaster. Count on adding about $15.00 to $18.00 more for each ticket price due to their "handling" fees and shipping fees. :(

The tickets for my area - Wash, DC, don't go on sale until 10:00 A.M. tomorrow morning. However, I think I'm going to sit this concert out.

Some friends and people i knew got tickets here in Ohio, they thought it would be stupid.
They said they had one of the best times of their life, one kid who was 16 was drug along and even he had a blast. They said those guys really knew how to put on a show.
I laughed at them for going then they laughed at me for not going.

I saw kiss back in the seventies, I was 15. A friend brought along a jug of a little bit of everything in his parents bar, except the tomato juice.

It was quite a show.

Kids trashed the place afterward, we had no more rock shows for years after. Nothing but Seals and Croft for the next five. :(

To tell you the truth, I was never a big KISS fan, I just want to see Aerosmith one more time before they die.

I wasn't either, even back then. But the show was amazing. I have no idea if they still do that type of show now though.

I saw Aerosmith a couple times.....both times they sounded good even though the first time it was obvious Steven Tyler was on drugs....hehe.

I saw Kiss on halloween a few years back and they put on a good show. Lots of fun if you grew up with that music.

Just go, you'll have a good time.

Last time I seen aerosmith was back in the 80's. Back when Huey Lewis and the News were still cool.

Didn't get to make the Aerosmith/Kiss stop this year in Indy, but tickets were under $50. I did, however, see Aerosmith perform twice in the past three years at Indy. First time was with Fuel and the second time was with Run DMC and Cheap Trick. Tickets were only $35 including all the damn Ticketmaster charges. They put on a great show both times.

Only crappy tickets are left, oh well, hopefully they will tour again before the turn to dust.

Saw it in KC.....

Aerosmith continues to be one of the best performing live bands. Kiss was underwhelming, although I'm not a Kiss fan bujt was hoping for the "excellent" show they were rumored to have.

All in all glad I went, but mad Kiss played nuch longer than Aerosmith...

Oh, and check back just before the date of show, often they release more tickets then and you can get some good seats...

They were huge in 1973, so I bet it was earlier.
Their "debut" album, Aerosmith, was released with the smash single, "Dream On" in 1973.

I saw Kiss a coupel of years ago. They still use their same basic show... lots of lights and pyrotechnics. At least one of them has lost their voice, but 'Beth' is required nostalgia. ;)

My ex g/f just saw them here at Shoreline Amphitheater (Mtn. View, CA) Friday night, and said she thought Aerosmith kind of sucked onstage. I didn't go, so can't judge.
