I ran into this case in some forum and started reading about it.
It has its flaws - plain inside, plastic front panel, etc. But it seems like the cooling potential of a case like this is tremendous. Why does no one talk about it here?
Ever heard of something called "the point of dimishsing returns"? Well this case has reached that and then some. And as Corporate Thug pointed out; it's ugly.
Yeah, I am going to have to agree with the other guys, that thing in UGly with a capital UG. Not to mention ok, that fan it just HUGE, why not just open the side of the ase and put a desk fan next to it.
Desk fans tend to run at high RPMs, and hence be über noisy, that's why they've put that in there, with a fan controller, so you can run it at really low RPM, and it'll still give a huge CFM. Surely that's gotta be good for WC radiators?
I don't think it looks that bad really, definately not capital UG level. I mean http://www.pcexpressfirst.com/cases/xoxide_1839_172891000.gif is UG level. At least it's just all black, the doors give the front a fairly smooth minmal look, fine it has a turbine, but jeez, how can you not like turbines?! 😉😀
I was waiting for some bigger than 12cm fans, wasn't quite expecting 25cm though.....
