Those pump and deflate times sound good.
Nice price too.
Anybody have one? Are they pretty durable?

Shipping is only $6.95. But, it's 6 1/2 feet square.... That includes the sidewalls... holds 240 gallons at 2 feet deep... 240 divided by 7.48 gallons per cubic foot = 32 cubic feet... divided by depth of 2 feet = 16 square feet = 4 foot by 4 foot area. Or, those walls are at least 9 inches thick, 6 1/2 - 2*9 = 5 foot by 5 foot area in the water...

That picture sure looks like a bigger pool than the description... Maybe the lady has really short legs??

Yeah, it's not too bad of a deal, that's why I looked... but, I'm a little skeptical about the size of the pool... For about $20 more, here's a pool from Walmart. 10 foot diameter, 2 1/2 feet high, holds nearly 4 times as much water, and has a power filter so you don't have to replace the water daily.

wally world pool

I just included this to show that for little more, you can get much bigger, and with a filter... Look around. What I had actually looked for was a pool like the pool mentioned in this thread... it seems we got it for 50 or 60 dollars, and it was huge compared to that one. And, once you inflate the small pool once, and fill it with 240 gallons of water (which will make that 3 minutes of inflation look like nothing), and then wait for the sun to warm up the water, or come up with a way to fill it with reasonable temperature water for the little ones, you won't want to drain and deflate it that day. Be careful where you put a pool... in the lawn is going to kill some grass (unless you move it every couple days). In the driveway is going to leave a very hard bottom for the kids to get hurt on.

I have had several similar pools and the best one was the one with the filter. I have seen it available in several different sizes and my kids loved it. The filter system worked really well and the filter only needed cleaning from time to time and if need be, replacing the filter was easy. Sprayers mainly dispense cold water, unless one has an outside hot/cold water faucet to mix the intake. The pool without a filter needs to have it's water constantly changed.

The Filtered Pool was the easiest and most maintence free pool. The size was perfect for the price.

The only drawbacks I have had with the pools was if you live in an area with animals. After the first summer we used it, a neighboring cat decided to try to drink the water. The pool works on the top ring being filled with air. When you place water inside the pool, that ring makes the sides float above the water line, thus forming the sides of your pool. Once the cat placed several holes in the pool from it's claws, I spent several days trying to patch the holes with several products. I ended up getting three summers out of the pool and it is now garbage, mainly because of several cats climbing on that ring.

The only other drawback I found was that once removed from the box, it is impossible to store it back in the box once the pool is removed because of the material and size. You just can not fold it back up again the same way.
