Aero Glass is the final UI for Windows Vista

How many more things is this going to add to my list of things to fix when I install it? With XP I already have:

Show file extensions for all files
Show hidden files
Show OS files
Show details
Show status bar
Turn off simpleton file sharing
No I don't want to view all windows as a webpage (Use Windows classic folders)
Show full paths
And most important of all Disable stupid annoying navigation clicks

And that is just the ones off the top of my head.

Those screenies look like XP with modded skins. Why exactly is this news?

Anyway, I'll probably just go with classic view and skins. (If they're available.)
EDIT: I just realized that I do everything Linflas does. Are these common settings among AT users?

I have to admit i never understand you guys 😉, if you've got the grunt, why not enjoy the pretty light show?

Didnt Star Wars I,II and III have a pretty light show?

MS continues to try to find ways to copy OSX's aesthetics without being obvious about it.

(yes, I do like XP. This isn't a bad thing, but it's obvious that's what they're up to).

BTW, what if any reason has MS given XP users to upgrade to Vista? The bigest reason for me to move to XP was stability. Now that I have that, I'm meh to the prospect of updating my OS again.

there really is no reason to upgrade now that they took WinFS out of it
