Pretty cool story of The Prez, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry meeting up at a Florida airport::

NO BETTER WAY TO FINISH A BEAUTIFUL SOUTH AMERICAN TOUR…FROM AERO FORCE ONE TO AIR FORCE ONE…THE BEST WELCOME HOME EVER @POTUS pic.twitter.com/7TyPVmSplZ

Joe is a Conservative but he was glad to have had the chance to meet the President...

Despite being a tried-and-true Conservative, Perry admitted that Obama is "pretty amazing." "I had a bunch of questions I wanted to ask him, but as it was, he was coming back from a long day of stumping for… the Democrats," Perry said. "Being a Republican, I still have a lot of respect for the office, you know? Sitting there with the Commander-in-Chief and leader of the free world… it was really cool."

Lucky guys! What a life. Oh, if you check out Tyler's link in his above tweet you can catch some of his fans slagging on him and Joe for having met up with the President and accepting his invitation to hop on Air Force One!

I was a true blue Fender Strat guy until I saw Joe Perry live in concert ripp'in licks on his Gibson. Bought my first Gibson because of him. That was a long long time ago in an musical era that I was VERY glad to grow up in.

If only politics brought people together in rythmic harmony like music does.

I was solely a Gibson player (Perry/Page) until April Wine's Goodwyn came along with his Strat... then Rhodes with his Concorde V... GAS (Guitar Acquisition Syndrome) is a bitch... :D

"I was once a fan, but now that you take a photo with commie Kenyan blackie, I can no longer love you! Shocked! Offended!" etc :(

Damn, I suffered from the same condition too. I got cured from it by taking a whopping dose of MMAC (Marriage Mortgage And Children) ;)

The very last axe that GAS compelled me to own was a Martin D35 to scratch that off my bucket list. Sold it to a good friend of mine to finance part of my run at college with the condition that if he ever wanted to sell it, it would be back to me and to me alone. The prick still owns it after all these years no matter how I much begged him to sell it back to me. :(
