I found tifas limit break hard to get all WOW! and didnt like to use it.
Aeris limit breaks were awesome for protecting the party but since you lose her its kinda hard to enjoy them.

I never understood the rampant Aerith fandom. She honestly wasn't that deep or interesting of a character, and as soon as they really start developing her they kill her off. She wins points for being more brains than boobs ala Tifa, but when they played Aeriths theme at FF Distant Worlds the guy sitting infront of me literally started crying, I just dont get it.

That is actually something I was completely unaware of. I thought all of the FF games were in different universes unless specified otherwise (such as the Ivalice-based games). Interesting if true!

And since you're too disinterested to actually look up FF: Distant Worlds, it's pretty much Nobuo Uematsu and Arnie Roth flying around the world to perform orchestral renditions of music from the series (mostly the stuff Uematsu composed) with local orchestras. You don't have to be super into the games to enjoy music. In fact, it's an event where most people *gasp* wear a tie.

Last I checked that was some BS that was vaguely and poorly tacked together in some interview with... someone (one of the X-2 designers I think) at SE in order to try to move more X-2 units by playing to the FF7 fandom. It was completely after the fact, and about as close to canonical as any other tween fanfiction. It was not a plot point, or even a side point, in the games at all from what I remember. More like "Oh yeah, it's totally the same thing guys, so this is like the sequel you wanted! Buy more units!"
