What bit rates does it come in other than 496 KBps (which is what winamp says they are before I convert them to WAV files)? After I convert the ADX files (from GC games) I've downloaded to wav files, Winamp says the uncompressed bit rate (i.e., 1024 if 32 KHz, 1536 if 48KHz).
Also, are VGZ and GYM the only file formats for native genesis rips? VGM sounds a lot better than GYM, but why are the VGM files so much larger than what could fit on the Genesis carts (e.g., the Revenge of Shinobi's music files total much greater than 512kB)? Is it because of looping?
Anyway, ADX is the only lossy codec I can tolerate--it's a lot better than itunes 256KBps crap (i wish allFLAC had the selection that itunes store has, but they don't), MP3s and ogg vorbis (used in DMC4 for the PC and its dynamic range sounds almost completely flat).
