A few weeks ago I ordered some Ray Ban sunglasses. I know from past experiences with them that I should try them at a B&M before buying because past ones haven't fit very well but I guess I forgot about that when ordering these. I didn't look very hard but I didn't see this particular model anywhere local.
To make the story short, they came in and although nice, Ray Ban seems to have a notion that everyone has a huge head thus making the frames too big. The stretch of the frames is practically wider than my head and since on of my ears is higher than the other, they slide down a lot and can even fall off (no thanks to the nose pad gap which is pretty big).
I have really two options. Either bend the front metal bar that goes between the lenses so the sunglasses would be more curved and have a tighter fit or (Option 2) would be to carefully put some glue or solder near the joint so the frames will not be able to open so wide.
Anyone ever had this problem and solved it? How did you do it. And if not, which method do you guys recommend? I made a picture for the hell of it, it shows the two options I have come up with in order to solve this problem.
