I would like your opinion on what would be the best NIC for LAN play...I have a few already but am looking for alternate ones...Just curious what everyone else uses...thanks
 
They are all about the same, stick to name brand but don't feel the need to spent a lot of money on one.

I picked up an OEM packaged SMC Etherpower II 10/100 PCI NIC for $20 about a year ago.

Other good brand name NIC's are Intel, Netgear, 3Com, D-Link, and Linksys.
