advise needed quick?

Ok...this is really easy but I'm not very good at these things..

First of all, I've kind of been in an "internet bubble" for a while so I lost a lot of my socialness. I want to get involved more socially, especially w/ girls. My friend is going over to some girl's house today, and he says I should call her and just talk. I know who she is and she knows who I am, but it goes no further then that.

Do you think if I just called her she'd wonder "why is he calling ME?" or think I'm being some stalker, or intrusive. I also don't want to just invite myself over to her house.

Any suggestions on how I can wedge myself in without causing problems?

Go over there with him and just kick it for a little. Just do your thing while you're hangin out there and talk to her for a bit. Before you go home, just be like "lemme get your number, we should go out sometime and do something". If she gives you her number, then you're in
