Advise building new system

Hi,
To all those who KNOW: I'm building a new system and I have some questions. Here it is:
- Asus P5B-E
- Intel Core 2 Duo E6400
- Crucial PC2-6400 Ballistix or GeIL PC2-6400 800MHz Plus (2GB)
- Saphire Radeon x1900GT 256MB
- Seagate 3.0Gbps 320GB 7200 16MB Barracuda 7200.10 (two)
- NEC ND-3500A 16x DVD+/-RW (two)
- Thermaltake Soprano VB1000BWS case
- FSP Group FSP550-80GLC 550W EPS 12V SLI power

My questions:
- Does anyone know of any issues between the Asus motherboard and the memory?
- The only "stressful" thing I'll do with this computer will be video editing: any ideas on the video card without having to sell my first born in order to buy it?

Thank you in advance for all your expert advise.

Regards,
Raz

Probably better to post this in the General Hardware section to get more responses. I know people there have been more than helpful when I was first picking out my parts. I went with a Sapphire X1900XT 256mb for my video card for gaming/graphics design until the new G80 cards come out and lower in price the cards of which I want.

I agree that you should post this in Hardware section.
Looks like you on the right track.
I use a Matrox Parhelia and Nvidia Quadro FX1400. Both do video. I found the FX1400 equal to slightly better than the Matrox at half the price.
If you're doing really serious video editing, Nvidia recommends the Quadro FX. Other cards can do the same job but dropped frames are the issue. Perfection is the mark. The rest is up to you and eBay.
