Some of the links on your menu don't seem to work with IE... any of the ones that try to open another site inside yours give an access denied error (but no problems in Firefox)? Might want to check it out. Forums, Salaries, Standings are some of the ones that give me access denied errors, but only in IE.

there are plenty of hosts that offer unlimited bandwidth.

any recommendations for reputable ones?
well it's more like unmetered, not unlimited... they'd pull the plug on you if you're taking up a disproportional amount of their bandwidth... I use readyhosting and they are unmetered for $8.25/mo. I have vids on my site (see sig link) and 15 days took away 16GB of their bandwidth and I haven't heard any complaints from my provider.

Looks pretty great. If were able to watch more NBA, I'd contribute a blog, but I just don't get a chance to watch too much, esp. the Pistons. Well done

is that a lot or a little ? I can't tell from your reaction. ;) I've been with them for the last 5 years and they've been better as time went on and now they're very stable (for 2+ years now) and their support is very good. I actually signed up with them because they support ColdFusion for cheap... the unmetered stuff was just a nice bonus... never took advantage till now with the vids site.

actually, it's Joomla:
http://www.joomla.org/

i guess the main team that created Mambo decided to part ways and continue w/ Joomla. Joomla 1.0 is basically Mambo 4.5. from that point, the two projects may take on completely different paths.

both excellent software :) thanks for all the links, adlep!

Does Jamala run on IIS? Also, does it create friendly URLS from the menu?

It is a challenge, but I know that it can be done.
I regards to SEF, it is a weakens of Joomla/Mambo.
You have to use an add-on module to do that. Some names:
SEF Advance (paid, but very mature and the support is great), OpenSEF (seems like a project with a great potential, free), 404sef (I use it on my site, with no problem, very nice and free)
visit mamboserver.com and www.joomla.org for more info on Mambo/Joomla
:D
