Here is the background.
A few months back, when my wife had our child she was collecting disability insurance. Some how the date when she got off the disability got mix up so the insurance over paid her by about 2K. After talking with the claim agent, he said she could keep the over payment and put her down for 8 wks off rather than the usual 6 wks. We also got a letter saying they over pay her but will not persude the over payment, i.e. keep the money. We were Woohoo!!!
Fast forward to yesterday, we got a letter from the insurance saying we need to pay them back for over payment amount.
So what are my options?
